Our First Dog Hike

Preperations complete! All is set and done and tomorrow we'll walk. This will be Vatties first hike ever and we're so excited about this. Having longed for this day since we decided to get a dog it's really a dream come true. We will be walking for three days and at the same time try to do some cleaning along the way. It's the trail called "Skåne Leden" and it's a part of it we havn't walked yet. Going to be real fun to do a real "Walk of Nature"

After this walk we'll tell you all about this of course and it seams we might have some more fun news coming your way, especially if you're planing to participate in this years EURORANDO... Just saying :) Vattie will be equiped with a harness allowing her to carry her own stuff, although we will not use the bags this time but only the harness. Since she's only 9 months old now, she's still too small to carry weights. When she's old enough we will start with smaller weights and build from there. It's very important that a dog don't carry more than it can handle, the regular recommendation says that a dog shouldn't carry more than 20% of it's own body weight.
